and started doing a little research. Yes, you can use it on your body! It’s a great moisturizer to use in the shower (or right after, if you have dry skin) and it leaves you feeling silky smooth all over.
You don’t need much – just like when using it on your hair. Put a couple of drops into your hand and smooth it over legs, arms, or anywhere your skin feels dry and tight. I used it after drying, when my skin was still warm and maybe a little damp. It soaked right in. There’s no greasy feeling and you’re left with smooth, hydrated skin. It’s fantastic as skin care!
So let’s get this straight: Not only is Biosilk Silk therapy a great leave in conditioner that transforms your dry, dull hair to glossy and vitalized, it’s also a great skin moisturizer? Yes! Win! It’s ideal for all hair types, and gives you silky hair along with silky skin. A product that does double duty as a hair and body moisturizer? I’m never going to go without my Biosilk Silk Therapy again. 
How’s that for terrific? You can moisturize your hair and moisturize your body with the exact same product. It also contains a sunscreen to protect your hair from UV damage, so you’ve just added an additional skin protectant, as well. You can never have too much sunscreen – take it from someone who never used sunscreen until she was an adult.

About a week ago I was futzing with my bottle of biosilk when I noticed that in the directions it said it could be used on skin. Since then, when I get out of the shower I always rub a little biosilk on my legs. It works wonderfully. Even after only a week of use I’ve noticed biosilk leaves my skin feeling much softer and smoother and it looks much healthier. I swear by this stuff.
I’ve been using biosilk for years after going to the hair salon so I would by a bottle and never read the directions. My hair dresser told me put no more than a dime size amount if my hair is wet so that was that & I bought a big bottle last night and for some reason when I came I read the directions & it said use on hair or skin…skin? What? I read it 3 times lol baffled by this so I googled it n read about it n also used it on my skin & I’ve got 1 word to describe it….FABULOUS!!! Just absolutely fabulous. So excited…this freaking RULES!!!! Made my year!!
