Avoid drying out your hair. Over-coloring or over-shampooing can do this. When you do wash your hair, make your last rinse (when you rinse out your conditioner) cool water. This seals the hair cuticle and will also make your hair smoother. The smoother the hair cuticle, the higher the amount of shine you’ll get. Try this, it really works!
If you blow dry, finish with a blast of cool air, which also seals the hair’s cuticle and raises shine.
Try a shine serum for extra sheen. A lot of shine serums double as anti-frizz serums, so you get a two-in-one. If you need shine serum for fine hair, make sure to use a spray that doesn’t weigh your hair down. You can also try a finishing spray. These do double duty; they hold your style and make your hair shiny and healthy-looking at the same time.
